FAQ

Google Calendar FAQ

Common questions about syncing Google Calendar event metadata.

Do you sync event descriptions or attendee emails?
This integration is designed for metadata and analytics. You can sync event fields like times and attendee counts without storing sensitive content like full attendee lists.
Which calendars are included?
LightningSync can sync calendars your Google account has access to. Rows include calendar_id so you can segment and filter in SQL.
Can LightningSync create or edit events?
No. LightningSync requests read-only access and cannot create, modify, or delete calendar events.
